Plastic bags and doypacks for food packaging
Printed bags and stand-up doypacks, including freezer bags and recyclable mono doypacks for dry pet food.
Packaging that looks great on the shelf
A doypack is a stand-up pouch with a large print area: it displays the brand well and dispenses the product conveniently. We make bags and doypacks from barrier laminates that protect the aroma, and in recyclable mono-material versions.
Flexographic printing in up to 10 colours, with optional extras such as matt varnish or a paper-touch effect, makes the product stand out on the shelf.

Bags: from the design stage to the packaging machine in your hall
The production of a bag at PAK is a multi-stage process, during which we work with the customer from the design stage to the packaging stage on the machine in the customer’s hall. Your product is our starting point. We propose and prepare solutions so that the packaging is aesthetically pleasing, safe and optimised in terms of both structure and size.

Doypacks
Doypacks are stand-up pouches, with the possibility of welding in a zip for closing. As a doypack manufacturer, we can implement a number of solutions, e.g. a euro hole for easy hanging and a notch for easy opening. Laser perforation, selective varnish or a combination of film and paper with a window are also possible.
The most common applications for doypacks are: dried fruit, coffee, tea, pet food, spices, nuts, confectionery and food supplement packaging. We also make doypacks from mono-materials, in which case they are 100% recyclable.
Vacuum bags
Bags for vacuum packaging of food have an oxygen barrier, which increases the freshness of the product several times over, as well as preventing it from drying out and losing its flavour. PA/PE and PET/PE bags manufactured at PAK are supplied printed and unprinted. The most popular applications are meat, poultry, cold meat, pickle and cheese packaging. Packaging methods: vacuum chamber packaging, vacuum packaging, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
Embossed vacuum bags
Embossed vacuum bags are a suitable solution for vacuum packaging machines and slat packers. They are made from barrier PA/PE film and finished with embossing that creates a mesh structure. Thanks to the knurling, air escapes more quickly from the bags during the packaging process, which is why knurled bags are dedicated to vacuum packaging machines with lower output. They are suitable for vacuum packaging of meat, cheese, vegetables and confectionery products.
Frozen food bags
Frozen food bags are made from modified LDPE film, making them perfectly suited to freezing at temperatures down to −40 °C. We offer them with or without printing, with a tab, with a euro hole, with a bottom fold, with rounded corners or with clips. The most common applications are poultry carcasses: chicken, rabbit and goose packing.

Choose the format for your product and machine
| Bag type | What it is for | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Smooth vacuum bag | Vacuum packaging of meat, cold cuts, cheese and fish. | Chamber packers; the standard choice for regular product shapes. |
| Embossed vacuum bag | Vacuum packaging on slat (chamberless) packers. | Embossing makes it easier for air to escape when the machine has no chamber. |
| Doypack | A stand-up pouch with a large print area, optionally with a zip. | Dry goods and snacks: coffee, pet food, sweets; strong brand display on the shelf. |
| Zip bag | Repeated closing of the package by the consumer. | Portioned products and products used gradually. |
| Freezer bag | Storage at low temperatures. | Frozen food: a structure resistant to low temperatures. |
Variant parameters, always with the test method
Thickness, OTR/WVTR barrier, seal strength and puncture resistance depend on the specific structure. That is why we do not publish one universal table: the values are given in the variant data sheet, with the unit, test method and measurement conditions, so that they can be compared.
Limitations we state openly
The permissible temperature range, food contact and process compatibility (vacuum, freezing, pasteurisation) are confirmed for the indicated variant and application, based on documentation and a trial rather than a general slogan. The scopes of our certificates are described in our quality policy section, and orders are governed by the General Trading Terms and Conditions (PDF).
Frequently asked questions
Vacuum packers: smooth or embossed bag?
The packer decides. On chamber packers the air is removed from the whole chamber, so a smooth bag works well. On slat (chamberless) packers the embossed structure creates channels through which air escapes from under the film; without them, evacuation can be incomplete. If you give us the machine model, we will indicate the right type.
Can a bag be selected without a full specification?
Yes. Just describe the product, the packaging method and what you already know about the machine. An advisor will clarify the missing parameters, we will propose a structure and samples, and the final specification is confirmed by a trial; you do not need to know the thickness or barrier in advance.
