Opening in one movement with a reliable seal: sealing lacquers matched to PET or aluminium trays, as in the “Rybka na raz” implementation.

Top films and laminates for traysealer line
ExtraPAK are films and laminates on which flexographic printing is possible. The individual constructions may vary, and each one is adapted to the product being packaged by our technologist.

EcoPAK: mono-material, recyclable films
PAK’s customers are increasingly choosing mono-material structures for the packaging of their products. To date, we have launched mono-material flow packs for minced meat, animal treats and kabanos, among others. This type of packaging is 100% recyclable.

Flexographic printing: wide-web presses
PAK’s machinery park is equipped with two state-of-the-art wide-web printing presses. We print up to 10 colours, in a maximum width of 1200 mm. We can register double-sided printing with an accuracy of 0.2 mm, and the Smart GPS system automatically registers the print within as little as 40 metres. Online barcode quality control takes place across the width and length of the web.
We have our own photopolymer plate prepress and graphic studio, which ensures brand colour consistency on different types of packaging, as well as full control over the printing process, which secures on-time delivery of orders.
Depending on the type of packaging, we select the appropriate inks: fluorescent, pearlescent, matt, glossy or metallic. Combinations of these effects, such as matt with glossy or matt with pearlescent, also work very well. Thermochromic inks, in which the print is only visible within a certain temperature range, work well in some projects. We also use soft-touch inks (pleasant to the touch) or scented inks.

Frequently asked questions
Will you match a film to our trays?
Yes. We need the tray material (PP, PET, PET/PE, aluminium), the cavity dimensions and the traysealer model; we confirm the seal and peel force with a trial on your line.
What is the difference between easy peel and reclose?
Easy peel means an easy first opening; reclose adds the option of closing the tray again. Both can be combined with anti-fog and MAP.
Can the top film be fully printed?
Yes: flexo in up to 10 colours with 0.2 mm register; our DTP studio prepares the artwork for printing to the G7 standard.
Are there versions for aluminium trays?
Yes. We have successfully implemented top films for aluminium trays, e.g. for oven- or grill-ready fish dishes.
