Anuga FoodTec Trade Fair

The theme of the main event stage is responsibility. It is understood both as responsibility in the food supply chain and responsible innovation development. Issues addressed on this stage include safeguarding food production, protecting the environment and climate, and promoting digitalisation.  These topics affect the entire industry, so there is a lot of interest in the speakers and panel discussions.

And what is particularly interesting and noteworthy for us?

The increasing popularity of mono films based on PP and PE. Due to upcoming regulations, food manufacturers are looking for mono-material solutions for their products. We are noticing this both among our customers (which is very pleasing – the mono solutions offered by PAK are performing well) and at international trade fairs.

Also important for us is the increasing market share of pet food – even at food fairs. We see huge potential for us here – we are specialists in packaging for this industry. Both our sterilisation casings as well as flowpacks and doypacks (also mono-material) are highly rated by customers. Our more than 30 years of experience in the production of casings is becoming even more valuable thanks to the growing potential of the pet food industry.

We are delighted by the great interest in the fair – both among exhibitors and visitors. We meet many of our business partners here and personal meetings with them are always very valuable to us.
